Sunday
Worship 10:00 AM

It's time to participate in the annual Souper Bowl of Caring.  Our children and youth will be joining congregations around the country collecting money on Sunday,February 7th to assist local area food banks.  Once again, we will be supporting Care and Share of Erie County.

Back to Blankets!

As  winter approaches, we are busily tying blankets.  The Sandusky/Erie County Community Foundation has given us a $750 grant to provide blankets to the Crossroads Homeless Shelter this winter.  Almost 30 blankets are complete, and we hope to complete at least that many more over the next month.  We continue to supply pillows at Cancer Services and North Coast Cancer Care, as well as Stein Hospice.  Thanks to the Dorn Foundation for their $500 gift to continue our pillow ministry in difficult economic times.

On Sunday, February 21st, we will be holding our next Blanket Workshop from 12 noon to 2 p.m. in the Memorial Lounge (use the door off Washington Street).  Members and friends of the congregation are encouraged to come and work, but we also welcome all guests, including community members who are interested in our work.  Come join us!

The Sandusky Mission Outreach Center - open for business!

 "Awesome"  "Wonderful facility"

Our congregation is delighted to present our new ministry, the Sandusky Mission Outreach Center.  It's designed to welcome groups from across denominations who wish to engage in meaningful service projects and have some fun as well.  Since we are in the home of Cedar Point, we are uniquely positioned to be able to host groups.  Our church facilities are ready and we began this summer to host groups at a reasonable price to cover our expenses.  Group leaders will find us easy to work with, as we take care of just about everything on this end.

Please click on the Sandusky Mission Outreach Center link on the left for more information, registration forms, and more.

What do our groups do while they are here?

Some have served meals at the homeless shelter, others work at the food pantry, or play with area children.  Still others are assisting agencies with the upkeep of their buildings and property, and beautifying parks.  Some are serving meals to senior citizens and spending time with the physically and mentally challenged.  Come find your perfect mission here in Sandusky, Ohio!

We are continuing to collect pop tabs for Ronald McDonald Children's Charities.  Thank you for helping children in need.
